Improving Clinical Outcomes. Period.

Our special Master Vent Program (MVP) signature courses are custom-tailored for:

Critical Care Transport Teams

Free-Standing EDs

without Respiratory Care support

911 teams utilizing scene ventilators

Helping you develop a more global approach to the management of ventilated patients based on the latest evidence-based medicine utilizing lung-protective strategy.

Why do you call it the “Un-Vent” course?

Most “vent classes” we’ve taken in the past are product in-services from the manufacturer.

These classes are great and very necessary to navigate a new vent, but they are non-clinical and NOT geared towards treatment or management of a ventilated patient.

The manufacturer or sales rep can get into the “HOWs” of making that vent work, but not the “WHYs” of clinically managing those patients.

Hence the idea for creating the “Un-Vent” course!

Master Vent Program

What do the courses teach?

Our special Master Vent Program (MVP) signature courses are specifically designed for management of acutely intubated patients and high-acuity ventilated ICU patients during interfacility transport, the scene of a 911 call, or at a free-standing Emergency Department without respiratory care (RRT) support.

What is included?

Our 2-day and 3-day packages come with:

Tons of tools, charts, and resources to make it easy for you

Comprehensive end-of-course testing and complex group scenarios to solidify the concepts and learning

Plenty of hands-on with the vents and ALWAYS ending with putting what they have learned on the pig lungs for maximum engagement, learning, and retainment

Program setup, integration of training with your existing protocols, and consultation with your physician medical director

Full-day or half-day refresher classes that can be scheduled annually or semi-annually

Bulk discounts for roll-outs at large agencies and healthcare systems + multi-year discounts for all agencies

Can the courses be taken for continuing education credit (CE/CRCE)?

Yes.

Our MVP programs have previously been approved by the American Association of Respiratory Care (AARC) for 16 or 24 hours of CRCE and by multiple state EMS offices for continuing education credit.

If your organization is not located in one of the states that has already approved our courses, we can help your Clinical Education Department with the application process.

When is the next course?

Courses are scheduled on demand. Email or call to set up one for your organization.
